The Westhall team identifies investment themes, strategies and niche opportunities then dedicates time and effort to uncover fund managers who are most able to generate consistent absolute returns.
Initially time is spent meeting management groups in situ be this in Asia, Europe or the US to understand fully the management company and their investment approach. We consider the investment managers our partners with whom we work alongside to grow, issue new products and ultimately close funds.
Westhall Partners will assist the investment manager through the complete cycle of introducing and maintaining long term appropriate institutional investment. This may entail shaping the marketing documentation (including a Westhall dedicated research document on the fund / investment manager), suggesting the most appropriate investor candidates, organizing and joining dedicated manager roadshows, providing detailed investor feedback, and assisting in the ongoing relationship between investor and manager once an investment has been made.
